Biography
Joan Cook-Mills completed her PhD at Michigan State University and postdoctoral studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She was an Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati and then Associate Professor at Northwestern University. She is a now a Professor in the Allergy/Immunology Division at Northwestern University in Chicago. She has published more than 50 papers in scientific journals and has served on study sections for the National Institutes for Health and the American Heart Association.
