Biography
Prof. Oscar Lindgren is an influential scholar in Experimental Food Design, Sensory Science, and Innovative Food Product Development, widely recognized for his interdisciplinary approach that integrates culinary science, human perception, and advanced food technology. With more than 16 years of academic and applied research experience, his work focuses on transforming scientific insights into practical, consumer-centered food solutions.
He earned his Ph.D. in Sensory and Culinary Science from Lund University, where he specialized in the interaction between food textures, flavor architecture, and consumer behavior. His research has since expanded to include novel ingredient functionality, multi-sensory eating experiences, food prototyping, and 3D food printing technologies, positioning him as a pioneer at the intersection of food science and design thinking.
