Biography
Giannopoulou is a Senior Lecturer in Exercise, Health and Nutrition Science in the University of Brighton, School of Sport and Service Management in the United Kingdom. Her research is focused on the effects of exercise and nutrition on the overall health and wellbeing of older women and obese and clinical populations with cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes and mental health. She has published more than 20research papers in reputable research journals and has been serving as an Editorial Board Member in peerreviewed journals like Frontiers of Nutrition, Obesity Research and European Journal of Nutrition.
