Biography

Dr. Guadalupe Garrido Pastor is Professor of “Exercise Physiology” and “Nutrition and Ergogenic Aids in Sports” at the Technical University of Madrid (UPM). She has been teaching and researching at this Institution in the Faculty of Sport Sciences for more than 30 years. She has been a nutritional consultant to high-level athletes in a variety of sports, including Paralympic basketball players. Presently she is involved in a nutrition and physical activity intervention in Madrid, evaluating child growth and development, as well as measuring the relationship between physical activity level, nutritional patterns and body composition.
