Primary Care: Fitness and Wellness

Physical activity is an extremely important part of living a healthy lifestyle. Incorporating exercise into your daily routine can enhance your energy and improve your confidence. Weight loss in the context of medicine, health, or physical fitness, alludes to a lessening of the aggregate body mass, because of a mean loss of fluid, body fat or adipose tissue and/or lean mass, bone mineral deposits, muscle, tendon, and other connective tissue. Weight loss can either happen unintentionally due to malnourishment or an underlying disease or emerge from a conscious effort to enhance an actual or perceived overweight or obese state.
