Protein is essential for magnification and the building of incipient tissue as well as the rehabilitation of broken down tissue—like what transpires when you work out. When you auricularly discern the term "positive nitrogen balance," it refers to being in a state of having enough protein available for the desiderata of the body and the desiderata of building muscle.

Protein consists of amino acids, conventionally referred to as the "building blocks of protein." There are approximately 20 amino acids, nine of which are considered essential because the body cannot make them, they must be supplied by the diet. The US Aliment and Alimentation Board adolescent adult daily RDA is 56 gms per day for men and 46 gma per day for women. Magnification, gravidity, lactation and exercise increase the ordinant dictation for protein. The FNB acceptable macronutrient range is 10% to 35%.
